How do you spell Kars4Kids?

People always want to know; “How do you spell Kars4Kids?”

Is it Kars with a “K” with the word “for”?

Or maybe Kars with a “K” and the number 4.

Or maybe cars with a “C” and the number 4.

Or cars with a “C” with the word “for”.

Or any of those with or without a space between the words.

Kars4Kids, Kars 4 Kids, Kars for kids, Karsforkids, cars4kids, cars 4 kids, cars for kids, carsforkids… Arghh!

It can make your head spin.

We spell it “Kars4Kids”. But you can spell it however you like.

Or the way John Zuchelli @tvzuke did; in Latin :-)

Do you hate the Kars for Kids song?

Today we found the cutest comic strip, albeit one that doesn’t really love our ubiquitous radio jingle.

It’s by the really funny Playoff Beard folks and you can read the original on the Kars For Kids page.

Do you feel this way about the Kars for kids song? Or do you love it?

Lenny asked us to sing at his wedding, so we recorded this!

When Twitter user @larmt10 a.k.a Lenny Armenti asked us to sing our Kars for Kids song at his wedding

we decided to record this version just for him:

Congrats Lenny and Jillian (@jilld711)!

Hope you walk down the aisle to this song :)

No, we do NOT trade kids for kars

We often get asked, tongue in cheek, if we will trade one of our cars for a kid. We have addressed this in the past with our Kars For Kids what do you think we do post on Pinterest.

Today on Twitter users @CounterVulture, @WhatJohnThinks, and @RicardoMarano all tried to give us their kids. So we were inspired to post this voicemail that was left for us recently.

We got a real kick out of it, enjoy!

Robin Williams sings the Kars4Kids song in a comedy skit

Imagine our surprise  when we saw Robin Williams, yes THE Robin Williams, singing our famous jingle. If this is not pure awesome then what is?

Puddin’ describes themselves as follows;

“The setup is simple. Guy sits in an office break room eating a pudding cup. Eddie Pepitone enters, or is already there. He does something. You react by laughing, wincing, asking for your 20 seconds back, or watching over and over. Easy.”

We are watching it over and over and over again…

Ten things more annoying than the Kars4Kids song

Fingers in ears

Here at Kars4Kids we are not deaf to the fact that, while there are many fans of our radio song, there is also a substantial number of people out there to whom it is worse than nails on a chalkboard.  For those of you whose skin curdles and whose hair falls out in clumps at the first note of our song, we present this definitive list of ten things more annoying than the Kars4Kids song:

  1. Dial up internet
  2. Root canals
  3. Colonoscopies
  4. Hearing the Kars 4 Kids ad, switching the station, and hearing it again
  5. A test of the emergency broadcast system
  6. Cleveland Baltimore*
  7. Your wife’s friends husband
  8. The elevator gets stuck in between floors, and the Kars4Kids ad is playing
  9. Rebecca Black
  10. The fax machine noise

* Post will be continuously amended as residents complain :)

Feel free to add your own in the comments.
